Cube - Rusty Lake - 1

 

Welcome to Rusty Lake. A strange place where cubes, immortality elixirs, murderous parrots, strange dead bodies, and Corruptted Souls are almost normal. The best part? The past is never dead, it's not even past. This is the first pencil-drawn CAToon posted to the blog, and all that you touch, you change. This drawing depicts many different characters and stories, all depending on how you look at it. For instance, for those with sharp eyes, there is a hint worthy of a party. The cube shows Laura, Dale in the elevator, and a Corrupted Soul... But, the soul disappears? Maybe it was never there to begin with, you were. Beside the cube, there is a deer, missing a head? There will be blood... Mr. Owl stands beside the upper corner of the cube, holding yet another one of the odd, squarish, things. Mr. Crow stands opposite of him, holding the knife to give to Harvey. On his sleeve are the words "You know what to do." Harvey is the parrot, her wings spread, her beak a gaping scream. One of the oddest characters, sure, but Harvey is by far my favorite. In her blood are the names of many different characters from several games in the series. By Harvey's hip there is a snowglobe from Cube Escape Birthday. A hand is shown trying to grasp the cube, because don't we all need a fair share of mental health and fishing?
